Exchange held webinar Wednesday on design options for new product
The CME Group, the world's largest futures
exchange, has taken the unusual step of proposing to clients
three different new treasury futures contracts.
During a meeting and webinar with members
on Wednesday, Agha Mirza, CME Group's global head of interest
rate products, and Jonathan Kronstein, senior director,
research and product development at the exchange, said it has
three potential designs with different tenures.
The session was held to discuss the
proposed designs and get feedback from market participants.
