Initial case claimed TOM infringed exchange’s trademark for AEX index
The protracted legal battle between
European exchanges Euronext and The Order Machine (TOM) could
be set for a crucial twist on Wednesday when a Dutch court
delivers its verdict on the intellectual property case.
A court in The Hague is set to rule
Wednesday on the merits of Euronext’s claims that
TOM breached its various intellectual property rights by
trademark and copyright infringement, false presentation of
data from Euronext’s database and publishing
misleading information and activities.
