DME said Bank of China will be first China-based bank to trade from Singapore
The Dubai Mercantile Exchange has passed a
milestone in its plan to boost trading from Asia by approving
Bank of China as the first China-based bank to trade on DME
through its Singapore branch.
The DME said on Wednesday that Bank of
China’s Singapore branch has been approved by the
exchange to issue letters of credit to trade on the Dubai oil
market direct from Singapore.
