Energy utilities and firms could struggle with the vast amounts of Remit data

Regulators (Acer) said on Tuesday 320 European energy firms had
applied to become registered reporting mechanisms (RRMs) and
report their own trades under Regulation on Wholesale Energy
Market Integrity and Transparency (Remit).
The figures, released as part of the
latest edition of Acer’s Remit Quarterly, mean
that many of Europe’s largest energy utilities and
trading firms will need to come to terms with the vast amounts
of trade data across numerous European energy platforms.
