Market sources tell FOW the launch has been pushed back two weeks
Nasdaq has pushed back by two weeks the
launch of its eagerly-awaited new energy exchange, Nasdaq
Futures (NFX), according to FOW sources.
The two week delay from the planned July
10 launch means that the exchange now plans to launch its new
energy offering on July 24.
A US-based source told FOW that the two
week delay was requested by an 'important player involved in
the partnership,’ and added that the delay should
not be taken as a negative. "The delay is not a reflection of
the platform's readiness," said the source.
