Hamada intends to press ahead with exchange’s three year management plan
Newly appointed Tokyo
Commodity Exchange (Tocom) president and CEO, Takamichi Hamada,
has said he intends to press ahead with the main principles of
the exchange’s three year mid-term management plan
published, in earlier this year.
In his first
communiqué to market participants and investors, on
Friday Hamada said the exchange would continue its efforts to
raise liquidity through the creation of a comprehensive energy
market including electricity futures and liquefied natural
