Exchange Commission (SEC) has called for cybersecurity rules
over stock markets and major market entities to be extended to
smaller players, such as brokers and exchange agents as a "top
priority" for the SEC
Luis Aguila, commissioner of the SEC, told
The Security Innovation Network (SINET) Innovation Summit in
New York on Thursday that instituting robust cybersecurity
measures should be adopted by more market participants, and
called for an extension of existing rules to new players.
