LSEG last week appointed an ex-SEC chairman amid a push into North America
The London Stock Exchange has said it has
received the regulatory nod from Hong Kong’s
Securities and Futures Commission to allow Hong Kong firms to
become members of the London Stock Exchange.
Under the membership terms, trading firms
will be able to connect to the London Stock Exchange
Derivatives Market which provides trading in derivative
contracts in UK securities and global depositary receipts.
