Hires reinforce the company’s focus on North America
The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has
Thursday appointed an ex-SEC chair and a new country head for
the USA as the company gears up for its operational expansion
into North America.
The LSE Group has named Mary Schapiro as a
non-executive director to the LSEG Board. A well-known figure
in the market, Schapiro was chairman of the US Securities &
Exchange Commission (SEC) from 2009 to 2012.
