The Paris-based exchange will later this month launch new volatility contracts
exchange Euronext has said it is expanding its index business
with the launch of a new customisable service after launching
three new country indices earlier this week.
The firm said the new "fully customised
index service" - which will be offered alongside the
exchange’s growing index offering - will give
clients control over the design, calculation, distribution,
commercialisation and administration of the service, to fit
their business requirements, said George Patterson, head of
indices at Euronext.
"We are able to take a client idea and
develop it into a fully managed commercial distributed
solution. We have a broad experience in developing and
maintaining different index and benchmark methodologies and in
constructing rulebooks which is complemented by our
understanding of the regulatory landscape," said Patterson.
