The British exchange said it will launch the new service in the fourth quarter
The London Metal Exchange has cut a
deal with a tech firm to develop a service to address ongoing
problems with the handling of warehouse receipts in the
over-the-counter metals market.
The British exchange said on Wednesday
it has reached agreement with Kynetix to deliver in the fourth
quarter of this year an electronic repository that registers
and tracks warehouse receipts for OTC metals.
