Team FOW braced the charity’s 30 mile walk to work on Friday
Industry charity Futures for Kids said the
Walk to Work event on Friday has so far raised £30,000,
after more than 70 walkers took part in the 30 mile walk.
The walk – the cornerstone of
Friday’s inaugural Futures for Kids Day –
has so far raised around £30,000, though this amount is
expected to rise as funds often come in after the event, said
FFK trustee, David Setters.
"It was fantastic to see FFK supporters
from many different sectors of the futures and options
community turn up to support our fourth Walk to Work. There was
a marvellously positive vibe at the Finish Line party where
many exhausted participants mingled with support staff from our
fabulous charities to celebrate an excellent cross industry
effort," Setters told FOW.
