Owner BGC Partners said in April the energy unit is up for sale
GFI Group’s energy unit
Trayport said volumes in the Euro and UK gas markets slumped in
April due in part to fewer trading days and the expiration of
the summer 2015 contracts.
Trayport said Euro gas volumes were down
42% month-on-month to 1,255 TWh, with the Dutch Tile Transfer
Facility (TTF), French Point d’échange de
gaz (PEG) and German Natural Gas (NCG) contracts all down over
two fifths for the month.
