British trader Navinder Singh Sarao was granted conditional bail of £5m last week
Navinder Sarao, the British futures trader
and alleged market manipulator who was arrested last week over
the 2010 "Flash Crash", has Wednesday been remanded in custody
after failing to post £5 million bail.
Sarao will now be held in custody for
another seven days until his next remand hearing, scheduled for
A court official told FOW that, in line
with court procedures for such cases, Sarao will have to return
to court every seven days until the £5m bail is paid, or
bail is revoked.
