UK futures trader was arrested Tuesday at the request of the US’s CFTC and DOJ
Trading arcade, Futex, Friday confirmed
that the lone British prop trader arrested and charged by US
authorities with market manipulation linked to the May 2010
"Flash Crash," started out on its trainee trader programme, and
was a "diligent" trader.
A statement from the trading firm Friday
confirmed that Navinder Sarao worked at Futex from early 2003
to the end of 2008.
