GFI was acquired by rival US broker BGC Partners in February
US broker GFI Group has signed a deal with
OptionsCity to link its electronic energy derivatives platform
with the tech vendor’s Metro offering, to offer
greater liquidity across the energy derivatives space.
The deal is a coup for OptionsCity as it
will help the firm expand its energy market footprint and give
clients trading access to a number of listed and
over-the-counter markets from a single screen.
