The London Stock Exchange plans to launch
a futures trading venue called Curve in March 2016 and has
hired a former project head at a rival as the British exchange
starts to ramp up its efforts ahead of the planned launch.
The LSE has been working on a secret
futures project known as Project Rita for more than a year but
the exchange is said by sources to have firmed up in recent
weeks its plans for the venture, including the name Curve and a
launch date of March.
