European exchange forced to shut three servers for the duration of Wednesday
Euronext has said it is working to fix the
glitch that locked out some of its main clients on Wednesday
but it will also supply additional contingency measures in case
they are required on Thursday.
The Paris-based exchange said in a trading
update: "Operations will be carried out tonight to resolve the
issue on the three impacted Common Customer Gateways. As a
precaution, additional Individual Trading Mnemonics (ITM) have
been created for those customers impacted to allow them to
connect to the market through other CCGs tomorrow morning,
April 9, if necessary."
