Tokyo commodities market signed a tech deal with Osaka in December
The Tokyo Commodity Exchange has said it
wants to strengthen ties with local giant The Japan Exchange
and expand aggressively into energy and swaps markets, marking
the latest move by the exchange as it looks to increase its
Tocom said in a statement on Monday it had
devised a three-year "Midterm Management Plan" which will take
the exchange through to 2017 and listed some of its priorities
for this period, including working more closely with its larger
cross-town exchange and expanding in energy.
