The US bank has held talks with rivals about selling Bache
Jefferies has parted company with its
Asian head of metals and listed commodity products, marking the
latest sign of upheaval at the US bank in talks with Macquarie
about the sale of its commodities arm Bache.
John Browning, Jefferies’
managing director who joined the firm in mid-2012 from Newedge
where he was also head of metals, left his post in Hong Kong
earlier this month, according to sources.
