trading immediately before and after news announcements rather
than much earlier before or later after the news comes to
light, new academic research has found.
Professors from the Notre Dame, Ohio and
Syracuse Universities have published a paper that suggests
"investors find profitable trading opportunities prior to and
immediately following information being made public".
