Turkish exchange wants to extend regional coverage in Europe and US
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing and its
subsidiary the London Metal Exchange have sold their 2% stake
in European clearing house LCH.Clearnet to Borsa Istanbul and
agreed to stream their prices on the Turkish market.
The LME said in a statement on Wednesday
it has sold to Borsa Istanbul its 2% stake in LCH.Clearnet and
reached an agreement whereby the metals market will license to
the Turkish exchange LME steel billet settlement data.
