US exchange is set to go into competition with CME and Ice
Nasdaq OMX is set to unveil on Wednesday a major new
initiative that will see the US exchange launch a suite of
energy contracts and go into direct competition with the
IntercontinentalExchange and CME Group.
Nasdaq is expected to announce the new energy suite, which
includes rivals to the benchmark WTI and Brent crude oil
futures contracts traded on CME and Ice, at the FIA conference
