Chair of the US regulator and top exchange chiefs to speak on reforms
The top figures in the futures and options
industry including the most senior US regulator and the
world’s top exchange chiefs are set to tackle
issues of cross-border regulation and the rising cost of
trading when they meet this week in Florida.
Tim Massad, the chairman of the Commodity
Futures Trading Commission, is set to make the keynote speech
at the FIA conference on Tuesday and
the lack of cross-border harmonisation between regulators will
be high on his agenda.
