Appointment comes days after exchange says CEO Bocker will leave in June
The Singapore Exchange (SGX) has appointed Tan Boon Gin as chief regulatory
officer, effective June 15 2015.
Gin, who currently serves as director of the Commercial Affairs Department, will take on the position from Richard Teng who is stepping down
from the role February 28 2015, said SGX.
Teng was appointed as the exchange’s chief regulatory
officer in November 2013. He served as SGX’s deputy chief regulatory officer
for the two years to the promotion, and was previously head of issuer
regulation and concurrently head of enforcement and market surveillance.
