India's main commodity market has appointed former BSE business head
Indian commodity exchange MCX has found a
new chief executive nine months after the former head stepped
down from the business, tapping rival Bombay Stock Exchange for
its head of business.
The Multi-Commodity Exchange, the largest
Indian commodities exchange by market share and the main Indian
market for crude, said on Friday it had nominated as its chief
executive and president Balasubramaniam Venkataramanig.
