Fidessa, the financial
services and trading platform provider, has forecast improved
market conditions for 2015 despite lingering systemic
The firm said its
customers are positioning themselves for growth and in
particular are looking to expansion on a regional basis.
However it added there was still a strong focus on costs with
most firms believing there will be considerable pressure on
margins for the foreseeable future.
Chris Aspinwall, chief
executive of Fidessa, said: "As we move into 2015, whilst
systemic risks and pressures remain within the financial
markets, we expect the gradual improvement in market conditions
seen during 2014 to continue."
