ICE revenues were boosted by the acquisitions of NYSE and Liffe
CME Group fourth
quarter earnings rose a fifth driven by late year volatility
and ICE revenue increased two thirds driven by the inclusion of
the NYSE business.
The Chicago exchange group reported fourth
quarter revenues of $841 million and an operating income of
$472 million. Net income came in at $206 million resulting in
earning per share of $0.91 an increase of 50% on the same
period the previous year.
