The partners aim to capitalise on demand for outsourced services
Two of the largest providers of trading
and clearing systems to hedge funds and prime brokers are to
merge in a $2.7bn deal the partners said will position the
merged firm to benefit from growing demand for outsourced
SS&C Technologies, based in
Connecticut, said on Tuesday it has agreed a deal to buy San
Francisco-based Advent Technologies for about $2.7bn, or $44.25
