BGC chief Howard Lutnick has said his firm's offer is "clearly superior"
BGC Partners, the US interdealer broker,
has issued a letter to GFI shareholders urging them to vote
against the proposed CME merger at the January 30 shareholder
meeting, marking the latest twist in the long-running battle
Howard Lutnick, chairman and chief exec of
BGC, has again called on GFI shareholders to tender their
shares to "our clearly superior offer of $6.10 per share".
