The new site will be the LME's fourth base in its 140 year history
The London Metal Exchange is taking the
unusual step of moving premises to accommodate its enlarged
workforce, meaning London’s last open outcry
trading floor is set to move.
The LME, which can trace its history back
to 1877 and has been in its current office on Leadenhall Street
since 1994, is set to move to Finsbury Square in early 2016,
the exchange said in a circular to members.
