Exchange consulting with banks on new system for end-of-day forward curves
London Metal Exchange, the Hong-Kong-owned
market, has hired as its new chief technology officer John Lee,
formerly of Liffe and the Intercontinental Exchange.
Lee begins in the new role on January 26
and will report to LME chief Garry Jones.
The appointment follows
the unexpected departure of LME’s previous CTO
Robin Paine in December. He left the firm just 18 months
