CME Group has matched BGC Partner's earlier offer for rival broker GFI
CME Group, the US
exchange operator, and GFI Management have upped their bid for
GFI Group to $5.60 per share from $5.25, matching
BGC’s rival offer.
The CME, led by chief
executive Phupinder Gill, said on Thursday it had improved its
stock and cash offer for GFI to $5.60 a share.
