Euro-denominated cocoa futures and options contracts set for launch in April
The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is set
to launch euro-denominated cocoa futures and options contract
on ICE Futures Europe in April this year, pitching
the Atlanta-based exchange group into direct competition
with CME Group.
ICE said the new contracts will operate in
parallel with the existing London cocoa contract on the ICE
platform, which is denominated in sterling, enabling customers
to generate capital efficiencies by clearing through ICE Clear
