US broker BGC Partners has updated its
revenue and post-tax earnings expectations for the fourth
quarter as the firm's aggressive acquisition strategy continues
to underpin its business.
The elevated earnings expectations mark
the second consecutive period of record post-tax distributive
earnings, said BGC.
The company said it expects revenue for
the fourth quarter to December 31 for distributable earnings to
be "around the high end of the range" stated in its previously
issued guidance and for quarterly pretax earnings to be around
