The European authority approved the paper late on Wednesday
Europe has set a deadline of early March
for feedback on the newly proposed technical standards for the
implementation of its Markets in Financial Instruments
The European Securities and Markets
Authority (Esma) published on Friday a 1500 page document
detailing the technical standards to be used by firms when
implementing Mifid in 2017.
Esma said on Friday the draft Regulatory
Technical Standards (RTS) would be open for public comment
until March 2 2015 and an open hearing will take place in Paris
on February 19 next year.
