German futures exchange is keen to boost trading in its shorter dated contracts
Eurex has waived fees on its Euribor
futures contracts for three months in a direct challenge to
rivals ICE Liffe and Nasdaq OMX NLX.
The Frankfurt (pictured) futures exchange
said in a client circular on Tuesday the fee waiver will run
from December 10 to March 31 2015.
Eurex previously charged a standard fee of
EUR 0.20 per order per side on three month Euribor futures and
its Schatz, Bolb, Bund, and Buxl Futures.
