ICE has cut deal to offer swap futures based on Eris methodology from 2015
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the global exchange
operator, has cut a multi-year deal with Eris Exchange, the
Chicago-based futures market, to list futures and options based
on Eris' trading methodology.
agreement, ICE has the right to list European interest rate
futures and European and US credit default swaps (CDS).
ICE, led by chief executive Jeff Sprecher
(pictured), said it will start offering early next year CDS
futures based on Markit CDX North American Investment Grade and
High yield indices already listed on ICE Futures US.
