The US exchange giant has hiked its bid to $5.25 in cash and CME Group stock
CME Group has hiked its bid for broker GFI
Group by 15% to $5.25 a share, matching a counter offer from
BGC Partners, a rival to GFI.
The Merc said early Wednesday it has
improved the stock and cash offer for GFI to $5.25 a share from
$4.55 a share, which the US exchange group said is 5% above
yesterday’s closing price of $5 a share.
