The Commodity Futures Trading Commission
(CFTC) has taken the unusual step of issuing three separate
rule enforcement reviews to the CME Group.
The CFTC oversight division assessed the
compliance of CME Group’s subsidiaries the Chicago
Board of Trade (CBOT), Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the
New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) and the Commodity Exchange
(Comex), against the CFTC’s Commodity Exchange
