SGX suffered on Wednesday last week a four hour outage following a power issue
The Singapore Exchange has underlined the
importance with which it is treating last week’s
trading glitch by taking the unusual step of defining the terms
of reference for the committee investigating the outage.
SGX said in a statement the board
appointed to investigate the November 5 breach met for the
first time on Tuesday and agreed its remit, which included:
investigating the facts and circumstances leading to the
breakdown; reviewing its finding; and recommending appropriate
action to prevent a recurrence of the outage.
