The European Securities and Markets Authority has issued a
consultation paper asking for feedback on the implementation of
the European Market Infrastructure Regulation rules on trade
reporting, a process that was said to be heavily flawed.
Esma issued on Monday a detailed consultation paper asking
stakeholders for feedback on a range of technical adjustments
to individual fields used to report particular instruments in
line with the Emir rules that took effect in February this
