The exchange partners have been working all year on the launch
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing has welcomed a joint
decision by the Hong Kong and Chinese regulators to approve the
launch of a trading link between HKEx and the Shanghai Stock
Exchange on Monday next week.
Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission
and the China Securities Regulatory Commission said in a joint
announcement on Monday they had approval of the Shanghai-Hong
Kong Stock Connect on November 17.
