Jean-Claude Juncker wants to form a single European capital market
The head of a European financial regulation agency has
outlined the principles of a new initiative to strike in that
region a Capital Markets Union, a key principle of new European
head Jean-Claude Juncker.
Steven Maijoor, the chair of the European Securities and
Markets Authority, told a conference in Brussels, said he
supported the initiative to develop a single European capital
market, or Capital Markets Union (CMU).
