Former UBS head of investment banking to succeed Francioni in May
Former UBS investment banking head Carsten Kengeter is to
succeed Reto Francioni as CEO of Deutsche Bourse next May as
Andreas Preuss extends his Eurex leadership until 2018.
Kengeter, a former Goldman Sachs partner, left his post
as head of UBS’s investment banking division in
His appointment brings to an end speculation over a possible
successor to Francioni, who has served as chief executive of
the exchange group for almost a decade.
