No implementation date set for launch of eagerly awaited linkage deal
Shares in Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing fell almost 5% in
trading today following confirmation of a delay in the launch
of its project to link its stock market with mainland
In April, HKEx and the China Securities Regulatory
Commission confirmed plans to establish a connection between
the stock markets of Hong Kong and Shanghai.
