Agreement is designed to boost trading on HKEx's new metals futures contracts
The London Metal Exchange and Hong Kong Exchanges and
Clearing are seeking to forge closer ties between Europe and
China with a reciprocal arrangement that will see both
exchanges waiving membership fees for firms listed on the other
The London Metal Exchange informed members on Thursday it
had agreed with the Hong Kong Futures Exchange that both firms
will waive their respective first year’s annual
subscription and application processing fees for new applicants
that are already members of the other market.
