Global regulator adds to calls for rules around margin for non-cleared swaps
The Financial Stability Board has published on Tuesday a
regulatory framework for haircuts on non-centrally cleared
securities financing transactions such as repo and securities
This framework is a key part of the FSB's policy
recommendations to address shadow banking risks in relation to
securities financing transactions, and follows a consultation
and quantitative impact study.
