Escoffier's Newedge is undergoing changes as it is brought closer to Societe Generale
Broker Newedge has hired a futures and clearing expert from
Morgan Stanley to head up over-the-counter clearing sales as
the French broker rings the changes after its May acquisition
by Societe Generale.
Newedge, run by chief executive David Escoffier (pictured),
said on Friday it has hired Jamie Gavin as UK head of
institutional over-the-counter (OTC) sales, reporting to Will
Davies, Newedge’s UK head of institutional and
Principal Traders Group sales.
