US firm is looking to expand its derivatives franchise in Asia and Europe
US broker Jefferies has secured its first derivatives
exchange membership in Asia after its Singapore-branch was
approved to become a trading and clearing member of the
Singapore Exchange (SGX).
The admission of Jefferies brings the number of trading and
clearing members in SGX’s derivatives market to 48
and 26 respectively.
